Pipelining

The Spray Glass system is by far the superior solution for manhole rehabilitation and pipe lining. Lining large pipelines can be an expensive task, especially when additional support or strength is required. The application of high-strength fibers and resin provides a perfect solution to add strength and extend the lifetime of failing pipes. The Spray Glass pipe lining system can be implemented through man entry in 48-inch pipes and larger, ensuring a robust and long-lasting solution for pipeline rehabilitation.

Here’s how the process works:

• Clean and Repair: Similar to the manhole rebuild system, the Sylmar repair material is used to fix damaged sections of the pipe or joints. This creates a solid base for further reinforcement.
• Fill and Seal: After applying the Sylmar repair material, a visco-elastic layer is applied to prepare the pipe for composite layering.
• Composite Rebuild: Composite fibers are sprayed to build up and strengthen the pipe to the desired thickness. This step involves spraying structural layers of multi-directional fibers over the patched void areas, effectively creating a brand new pipe within the existing one. The process is completed with a smooth Sapphire-Hardcoat finish, which acts as a durable barrier to protect the pipe from corrosive elements in the sewer system.
• Inspect and Test: The newly lined pipe is thoroughly inspected and tested to ensure it meets all required standards and specifications. This step guarantees the integrity and durability of the repair.
