The Spray Glass system is more than just a rehabilitation method; it’s a comprehensive re-build solution that provides exceptional strength and protection for manholes. Unlike traditional rehab products that rely heavily on surface preparation and bonding, which can fail over time, the Spray Glass system forms a robust fiberglass cylinder capable of standing independently.

Here’s how it works:

• High Pressure Power Wash: The process begins with a high-pressure power wash to thoroughly clean the existing manhole structure, removing debris and contaminants.
• Fill and Seal: The process begins with applying a Sylmar basecoat, which includes high durometer void and crack fill, and a low durometer visco-elastic isolation layer in lower transition areas. Curtain grouting may also be performed on significant leaks.
• Spray-On Composite Fiberglass Layers: Multi-directional fiber composite is then layered to the desired thickness, ensuring strength and stability. Once this full thickness is achieved, the structure is finished with a smooth Sapphire-Hardcoat. This finish provides a durable barrier against corrosive sewer gases and other environmental elements, making the composite structure capable of functioning without relying on the existing manhole’s support.

The final product is a seamless construction from the lower bench to the top of the cone, significantly reducing the risk of joint failure. This innovative system ensures long-lasting durability and reliability, making it a superior choice for manhole rehabilitation and rebuilding.
